Street Smart SCJ with Flair!
Universal Martial Arts Academy is the home of NorCal Small
Circle Jujitsu, founded by Professor James Hundon. NorCal
SCJ is taught with realistic self-defense applications, and an
emphasis on street awareness.

Professor Hundon is a 7th degree Black Belt and first
generation student of Great Grandmaster Wally Jay-the
founder of Small Circle Jujitsu-training under him from 1978
to 2003. Professor Hundon assisted Great Grandmaster Jay
in demonstrations and seminars around the country and
internationally during the time of the development of SCJ.
Professor Hundon’s successful tournament career helped to
create the reputation that SCJ enjoys today. Professor
Hundon became known as “the dancer who is a jujitsu
fighter” due to his graceful, athletic, and creative style when
fighting. He also taught at Great Grandmaster Jay’s home
dojo for many years. On top of his extensive experience
fighting with the art of Small Circle Jujitsu, Professor
Hundon has a unique ability to break down movements into
their fundamental building blocks, enabling his students to
understand and apply them easily and effectively.

in Small Circle Jujitsu from Professor
Wally Jay.  Professor Jay always
